After a short break the Mood Elevator is back in service. The much needed maintenance has been completed, the elevator has been greased up and is ready for take off. After four successful editions the standard has been set. With a combination of established and less established names, the Mood Elevator will continue were it stopped last time.

No single minded music in one particular style, but quality comes first. Tonight we have some ruff ‘n tuff sounds on the menu, but next time we could also have a more house oriented line up. There is so much nice and interesting music that the Mood Elevator does not want to stick to a certain sound. Until now, we have had many talented artists from Dutch soil on the line-up, but this 5th Mood Elevator is a little different. To raise the quality to a higher level we have spared no expenses. With Luke Slater and two rock solid live acts it promises to be a innovating evening.

As a club, the Poema is increasing in status. Every month the Poema comes with an impressive line-up, underlining their well earned award for ‘Best club in the Netherlands’. The scene is flourishing and the Poema is benefiting from this. People in the Netherlands are a little tired of main stream mass party’s and prefer the more intimate club atmosphere.

With a heavyweight like Luke Slater behind the decks it certainly promises to be a very turbulent journey. He has been at the top of the techno scene for many consecutive years. A pioneering producer who likes to experiment and has achieved and done a lot during the years. He has released many classics under aliases like Morganistic and Planetary Assualt System, always surprising and innovative. As a DJ he plays funky techno of a very forcing nature. Techno to the extreme, so a good closure for this evening!

Darko Esser has taken off the last year. After two amazing performances at Awakenings and numerous performances at different clubs he can be classified as a rising star. This positive development will certainly be continued in 2006. The future looks bright with his upcoming release on OVUM. It has been more than a year ago since his last live performance, but especially for tonight he has compiled a new live set for you. A huge challenge, so you better prepare yourself! You can expect fresh, clear sounds with lots of melody.

During his last performance in Doornroosje, Pitto succeeded in astonishing the audience. He has conquered a number of hearts and souls of people with his funky sound. With 3 future releases it looks like the start of a very promising career.

Two more upcoming talents in the Netherlands are Monokreck and Christoph Voorn. They will make sure the audience and the atmosphere will be at the right temperature. You can expect to be dancing away on some great records played by 2 promising DJ’s, who will be eager to give you a shattering performance! This evening has all the ingredients of an evening not to forget, so make sure you will be there!
