Over 12.000 readers of the Dutch Release magazine, and 52 "professionals" casted their votes for this annual event, held for the third time.
The upcoming talent award was assigned to Utrecht-pioneer Nuno Dos Santos by the professional jury, well deserved in our eyes, though a bit crude to be recognized as
upcoming talent, when you're already playing for over ten years. Ah well, Joris Voorn had the same problem (twice!).
Best live-act was Underworld (who thanked their voters through the webcam) and the best techno DJ award went to Carl Cox.
Topping the professional jury's list was Kompakt frontman Michael Mayer, second Richie Hawtin and a third well-deserved place for our very own Bart Skils.
