For the third and last time vegetable snippets, a gurkophone and rasper-beats. On Karmarouge Records the Vegetable Orchestra Remix Trilogys final chapter opens. And for a crowning conclusion of this funny but outstanding remix series it's now up to Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos to buzz the pumpkin bass and cook a delicate celery soup.In his 'Ciboulette Mix' Luciano composes one of his dreamful and dodgy grooving soundscapes and crafts a vegetable universe out of the various tomatoe-cucumber-fennel-frezzels. He sends the little veggie souls on to a dubious journey through earthy resounding voids surrounded by bouncing radix-plants. But at last with the deployment of steamy planar sounds it becomes clear that Luciano is a real vegetable friend. In place no more radish is choped, no tomatoe is stroppy skinned and everything loves each other. Perfect harmony in vegetarian paradise!
Completely different on the other hand the 'Atavismus Mix' by Ricardo Villalobos. The chewing smack which adheres to this 17-minute epic sublimes a passionate vegetarian. In a lustful and soulful way Ricardo Villalobos fragments and squelchs, mashes and penetrates the whole range of the vegetable garden. All above, frightening like the sword of Damocles, a singular guitar sound is floating and a bassline is sawing through the bubbling vegetation. A scary vegetable world!
